About Me

Hello there! I am described as “down to earth” and “easy to talk to.” I have over 20 years experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings. I utilize a holistic approach with elements of mindfulness, compassion, and a “whole-body, whole-brain” perspective.

Education and Experience

I received my Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University in 2006 and became a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in 2008. Over the years, I have worked in a wide range of settings, with the past decade focused on private practice.

I have practiced as an LCSW in Arizona, Colorado, and the Dominican Republic. As an Arkansas native, returning home 10 years ago was a meaningful step, and I am grateful to continue serving individuals and families here through my private practice.

About me

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, and hanging out with my family. I’ve always loved exploring new places and learning about different cultures, which has taken me all over the world and even led me to live for several years in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.

What to expect for our first appointment?

I will most likely offer you a cup of tea when you arrive and we will get comfy. I consider our first appointment to be a detailed conversation where we explore what brings you to therapy along with your goals. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions and make sure that I am the right fit for you.
